I've never in 10 trips since 2007 noted anyone having dinner "on the beach," at TTR. Outside, sure. Down on the beach, nope. We tried dinner on the beach once, and it was a horrible experience, with the breeze tossing stray grains of sand onto the plates and into the glasses, we fled. Wimps, I know.
The reason I asked was in that MiamiTV segment on TTR, it showed an elaborate on the beach dinner with steak and lobster. Must have been old.
Could be part of the Drops of Love package they do it at the quiet pool end, if you feel uncomfortable being on display , then not for you. yes always windy and cooler at night. They will also do it in your room.
On Facebook they advertised a few different ones other than drops of love. There was a full moon one and another I don't remember... Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 4 Beta
We have done the dinner on the beach on our 3rd trip. It was very romantic and the food was great. Everything was slow cooked to order, so it takes 20-30 minutes between courses. We were there 2.5 hours. Very happy we did it, probably wouldn't do it again. Paul & Lisa
they had this when we were there in february. during the day there was a lady right over by the sportspool infront of a table filled with ice displaying all the food choices like some pretty nice steaks and lobster. i forget how much it was but that night we saw the setup and people eating. it was setup on the beach right infront of the sports pool.while it was a really nice setup, it also looked a little awkward to us. a little windy with what seemed like possibly unstable tables. on a perfectly calm night it could be nice though
.... funny visual.... Full Moon .... Drops of Love Package... Dinner on the Beach... Uh oh. Sorry. My brain wanders in TTR's control when I'm a week out from a re-visit!
