We will be making our first trip to TTR dec.18th-23rd. I paid $2300 with a room upgrade to ocean view deluxe and for good flights. At the time, I thought I was getting a good deal, but now starting to wonder. We go to Jamaica every year and it usually costs around $3200 for the same amount of nights. When I saw TTR was nearly A grand cheaper, I thought it was a good deal. Was it?
all depends where your flying from as far as the $ part goes. as far as the choice of resort,is was a good choice unless your a prude.
We think its a good deal we arrive on the 25th and were trying to bring people with us and even using our referral week the cost is 312 per night 7 nights 2100 then you have to add flights. I know we are there for new years and that's an up charge but it looks like you got a good deal. :aktion033: To bad we will miss you by 2 days!!
Doesn’t seem bad to me, but I don’t know where you are coming from. 2 months ago I paid 2350 for 7 nights, ocean deluxe, direct flights from Philly, and transportation to/from the resort for Sept -13th to 20th (tomorrow!!!). Last year about the same time I paid the same. I would think your flights around Christmas added cost. I thought Jamaica was cheaper than that, guess I am glad I go to Cancun. You can't really put a price on TTR, you will no doubt think it was worth it. Don't forget to book the Boobs Cruise, it's a must do!
Good. Sounds like I did not over pay. Hopefully there will be a Boobs Cruise during our stay. Although it does not look good. As of right now, It looks like there is only a few couples from this site going during our time. Hopefully the place won't be dead.
I did a quick break down (no way this is accurate or intended to be ) but just to show U what a good deal U are getting... U pay 2300 usd for 6 days... meals at 3 per day times 2 people = 3x2x6 = 36 x 10 usd = 360 usd drinks at 5 per day times 2 people = 5x2x6 = 60 x 5 usd = 300 usd airfaire 500 x2 = 1,000 usd transfer 50 usd 50 usd travel insurance - 80 x2 = 160 usd total = 1870 2300 minus 1870= 430 usd divided by 6 days = 72 usd dollar a day U are paying for your room minus AL items... Don't worry about the place being dead. You have to remember that CCC people only make up a percentage of the total number of people there. On big trip times (Halloween, June Junkies, Mayhem etc) the percentage is higher but there are always other people there. You will have tons of people to meet and party with. On the flip side though if no one is there you will still have a blast. We went in 2009 during the Swine Flu scare when Canada wasn't even flying to Mexico and the resort was at 30% capacity. It was still a blast!
