Congratulations, welcome to a life of never having to worry about accidently producing a progeny and having a partner who's much more relaxed about sex as she can't get pregnant. I can't emphasize this enough, make bags of frozen peas your new best friend and use them even after you think all is OK. My worst bruising and pain happened a solid week after being snipped and had me on the couch for 2 days, I've since heard from a few men that this happened to them. Good luck!

Make sure you take the full amount of time to heal!!! You will feel ok after day two, but BeWARE and stay on the couch. I started moving around and popped a stitch.
Well, I've actually done the deed twice. I had it done when my second child was born in my first marriage. I had it reversed after getting married the second time and then had it done again when my twins were born. It really isn't all that bad. I did, however, find out the true meaning of the term "numb nuts" when I had it done. It is a little bit bizarre sitting around with an ice bag nestled on the most tender of spots, but it is worth the momentary pain to be able to just shoot blanks forever and ever.
I had no pain with my procedure. The best part is you really need to "clean the pipes" a lot before your return visit. We made a list of a bunch of different ways. Plus to quote Austin Powers. "There is nothing like a shorn scrotum..."

haha! I actually have a funny story about that! Our friend was the nurse for the surgeon. I had it done on the Friday, I called her on Monday morning telling her I had my sample ready! She said" You know it needs to be at least 20x?" I said I was working on 22 while we were talking!!! The phone went quiet!! LMFAO!! True story!
