Hi everyone, We are looking to book at Temptations in Feb for the first time. We have been to both Desire resorts a mixture of 10 times and bought into membership there. Desire is booked already and we are wanting to get away late Feb sometime. We are looking for some feedback from people who have stayed at both Desire and Temptations? We love Desire, the staff, food, erotic atmosphere, and of course the people you meet have been amazing. How much bigger resort is Temptations vs Desire, I think Desire roughly around 80 rooms? I assume like Desire, age of crowd, party/erotic atmosphere all depends on the crowd that is there week u are there. What % would u guess on an average stay are couples vs singles and % males vs females? Kinda excited to try something different but has been hard to do since we know we love going to Desire so much.
Hi Just for reference drm is 114 rooms to 460 at TTR. Food as a whole is a slight bit better at drm but not by much Typically about 80% couples with the single males tipping the scales more to that side but again not by much. Age runs mid 20s to mid 60s average about 40-45 More erotic at drm but more party at TTR Lifestyle about the same at both.
I think they are completely different. Each has it's own vibe to be sure, but both great. Halloween party vs. frat party, hot salsa or medium. Desire we found is way more laid back and with better food, but we're excited to see the "new Temptation" for the 1st time. Prior to reno, Desire's rooms were 1000% nicer than Temptation
In my/our opinion, Desire (both of them) are a less-intense party vibe than TTR, and there really is not as much sexcually-charged atmosphere at the Desires either, since there is just..., well... sex if you want. So, it's different. DOn't get me wrong, all of them are fun though! Definitely worth doing. TTR has over 300 rooms, someone will give you the count. Maybe I'm off on that, but TRTR is about 3x the size of DRM and over 4x the size of DP, though the DP pool is about the same size, LOL! And, there's no hot tub thing at TTR. It's just different. But fun.
