We are planning a trip for Sept. and we are trying to decide which one to go to. We have been to the Temptations in Cabo and had a great time. This was before we started swinging. Now that we are swingers this is an important part of our decision making process. We are leaning more towards Desire or Temptations because it's cheaper to fly to Cancun than Jamaica. We want to relax but we also want to do some playing with others. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Lifestyle couples do attend Temptation, Desire and Hedo. But Desire, Temptation and Hedo are not the same a Lifestyle club - so if your vacation happiness depends just showing at one of these resorts and being guaranteed to "hook up" you might be sadly disappointing If you are already worried about costs then you should forget Desire since the cost of being at Desire will always be at least twice as much as being at Temptation.
We just got back from our first trip. We do not swing and found it to be pretty tame. That being said, the daytime activities by the pool were fun, not to risky. The night time theme nights were very dull. We participated in several of the couples shows and games. As soon as the planned entertainment was over the crowds disbursed and headed to Patios bar. Even that was hit or miss, one night a good crowd, the next very quiet. Personally we doubt we will be heading back any time soon just to dull at night. I know others will disagree but that was our observation.
To ABkeywest you didn't say which resort you went to. To Cokewithlime the cost of the resort is not that big of a deal to us. We don't mind paying for quality at all. But a ride is ride the same one way or the other and it is more to fly to Hedo. Getting some lifestyle action is something we would LIKE to do but the quality and the fun atmosphere is more important. I think we would probably have a good time at any of the three. I guess what I'm asking is which of the resorts is the most lifestyle friendly.

If you like the atmosphere of a adult frat party and like to do the Cancun clubs during the evenings then Temptation might be your best choice. If you like a more upscale erotic and sensual atmosphere where most never leave the resort at night(the guests are a major part of the entertainment) then Desire is probably right for you. In short Desire is probably the most lifestyle friendly and you can maximize your chances by getting to know others that will be there the same week through Yahoo groups set up for specific weeks and also contacts thru the Desire Forums(click link on my signature line)
Amen to that! We had our "virgin" trip to Hedo II in April ... we are definitely no longer "virgins"! Plans now are to go back in March 2012.
