Hi , has anyone ever went to Desire Cabo ? Is it similar to Temptations Cancun ? How would it rate to Temptations ? Thank you
We were there when it was Temptation. It is a much smaller resort but very nice. When it was Temptation it was a little less intense then cancun but however have not been back since they went back to desire. Hope this is some help
We were there over Halloween. The resort is smaller but very nice. Beach is beautiful. The vibe is different than TTR. Its not as big of a party atmosphere in the day time but the night activities are awesome. They have a disco with a stripper pole (that was fun!). The Asian restaurant was awesome! They also have a hot tub on top of a building that is very cool and there are fire pits all over the resort. The staff was awesome!We plan to go back next Halloween and maybe even before that. We too went to Temptation at Cabos - Last April right before the switch-over. Loved the resort, staff was excellent, roof-top hot tub with swim up bar with ocean view was amazing. Rooms are bigger than Cancun, super low humidity as its a desert, cooler evenings, zero bugs. Lots of west-coast folks with a different vibe than Cancun, a bit more laid back. Wish the resort did not change over as we would be heading to Cabos again and again. Only issue we've heard since the switch-over is low attendance.
We couldnt agree more. We stayed at TTR cabo 2 years ago. And absolutely loved it. It was just the right amount of edgy, classy and naughty fun. Food was excellent as was the staff and the grounds were beautiful. San Jose del Cabo is an awesome and friendly town and for a little more nightlife and a change of pace San Lucas is like 20 min. away. Were very disappointed with the switch to Desire. Not sure if thats within our comfort zone. Hoping for a "do-over" or switch back or a new TTR Cabo because the Los Cabos area is beautiful and we'd return in a heartbeat. After reading your post, surely there must be others that share our opinion, maybe we can start a petition. Title it "You Know who we are-And we give a shit" Ken and Karen
