Departures tax

This is mainly for UK residents . We nearly fell foul of this last year as we have always flown with an American airline . But if you are with Thomas cook be aware if you didn't speedy know. That you have to pay a departure. Tax at the airport in $ or Pesos so keep that in mind . We didn't find out till we got to airport last year as no one told us about it and its not on the Thomas cook web site either . Just a handy hint .

 

Does anyone know how much it is in Pesos? I have been looking but can't seem to find it anywhere!

 

Hi, we were told when we booked, departure tax was $50 per person. No idea what that is in pesos though!!

Its approx 800 pesos each or £45 .

 

You can only pay in pesos or English pounds not in US dollars

 

Our departure tax is included in the total cost of our tickets.

But, United enjoys finding every little thing that they can add to your ticket, so that you get used to seeing all those little things and their little things don't stick out so much.
