Yippee! Friday already!! I am ready!! Nothing much going on this weekend...Todd has a class in the morning tomorrow...sooo I will be organizing clothing in the dressers tonight probably...fun huh? Tomorrow I don't know when he will get home, so I will probably clean till he does...then...let the party begin!! Perhaps a Lu'au for a bit then fire?
I am so ready for the weekend. Happy Friday everyone. Recovering from the dreaded post Cancun plague. Resting tonight, working at the bar tomorrow night for our annual luau party. Should be fun.
morning/afternoon all I'm wiped out. Didn't get home until 12:40am, in the pouring, POURING down rain, cold rain too. The concert last night was great, here is a picture of the girls with Mark Schultz (the christian artist). He signed their shirts that we had bought, as well as one of the cds we had bought...took 3 times to get the picture right...the first pic was blurry, and took forever for the flash, then as I said wait, lets do it again, it flashed again....then Mark had a mad look on his face....then I laughed, and showed him, and then we took a 3rd picture, and it turned out alright. After we walked away, I looked down at the camera, and realized it was on 'landscape' function...no wonder it was acting all strange...thats what you get when you let a 5 year old take pictures to keep them occupied in line outside. see the 3 pics.... first one.... second one.....the mad face.... third one...last but not least.... The concert was really great, all the money, tickets, shirt/cd sales, everything went to benefit Greensburg Kansas from the tornado that ripped through their town a few weeks back. The civic center where it was in Dodge City Kansas didn't charge to use the center, someone else brought in all the audio/video equipment for free....it was really a cool deal. Here is a picture of the kid in my youth that lost his house...he opened the concert with 3 songs...it was awesome. He's very talented. His sister is beside him, she played the piano and wrote the last song he sang that was about the night the tornado ripped through Greensburg, it was a tear-jerker song, not a dry eye in the house....totally awesome experience.
