Yes indeed! First trip of the year, weekend at Stratton Mountain in Vermont.

Drunken good times in the Green Mountain State.

Plenty of snow and booze in the forecast.

Bunnies galore.

Dennis,I realize this is a bit of a jaunt for you but check out this hill.I did a lot of skiing there in my day.Cant beat the powder and value.It is fab,never any lineups,get many runs in a day,plus you can check out some Northern BC lifestyle.I have skied at all the big resorts in the Canadian Rockies but if your looking for true skiing pleasure and lots of room of to do it,I would recommend.It is a hidden gem

NEver been skiing myself..How was it?

 

Conditions were incredible, particularly for early season...

they had gotten over a foot of snow a couple days before arrival, and another 10 inches of powder overnight Saturday which made Sunday a skiers paradise.

next trip... Jan 4-6!
