    that's right children...

Last week my USF Bulls were ranked for the first time ever, the 2nd fastest program to get into the rankings ever.

After destroying UNC Saturday, we are up to #18 today!

West Virgina travels to Tampa for a Friday night ESPN game... Huge game for the program.

    I say.. WOOO Go Bulls!

    Selvie Picks Up National Honor

TAMPA, Fla. – University of South Florida sophomore defensive end George Selvie was named Walter Camp National Defensive Player of the Week.

The Pensacola native continued his blistering defensive pace with three sacks and five tackles for loss in USF’s 37-10 win over North Carolina on Saturday.

Selvie already has 8.5 sacks and 14.5 TFL for loss this season, both of which lead the NCAA, despite the fact that USF has only played three games this season.

EXTREMELY impressive is a bit of a stretch, I was impressed with their performance, until I realized they beat UNC.....if they can do the same to my boy Steve Slaton and west virginia this week, THEN I will be very impressed.....and of course when they trounce uconn while were getting drunk and watching too

WVU is ranked #5 this year.

    we play them at home.

Last year WVU was ranked #7, and we beat them in Morgantown.

    Woo.

Maybes can happen... just ask Louisville.

West Virginia hasn't played anyone this year (below) so maybe they'll be a bit overwhelmed:

    Date Opponent Time/Result
    Sat, Sep 1 Western Michigan W 62-24 --
    Sat, Sep 8 at Marshall W 48-23 --
    Thu, Sep 13 at Maryland W 31-14 --
    Sat, Sep 22 East Carolina W 48-7 --
Fri, Sep 28 at (18) South Florida 8:00 pm --

That's pretty impressive, an extremely hard stadium for any team to beat WVU in.

Maybe ridiculous, but let me tell you, Syracuse needed it!
