I am sorry if this is a repeat but I have been looking a lot for info on rooms. I still no sure where a good one is. We really don't want a view of the road. We will be there in sept 2015, just trying to figure out what might be the best area to stay in. As far as I can tell I don't want a room near patyos cause of being loud. I have seen maps on here but don't know anything about resort. For when we do get there so we could request a specific area. Thanks Hope there other thinking about sept time we will be there sept 18-23 2015. This will be first time to a resort, and we are ready to have fun and meet new people.
Just got back from 3rd trip Dec 4 and based on what you are looking for "garden view room", I suggest the 2nd or 3rd floor in the 5200/5300 buildings as ideal. Rooms are bigger and offer more king beds and quieter. Rooms on other side of resort near quiet pool and restaurants are all 2 bed rooms and much smaller, hit your toe walking between dresser and beds on way to the patio/balcony. I have stayed in these blocks 1st two times but this last trip none left and did not want 2 beds so stayed in 4301 (end of row and beside stairs) which was near back and faced road. Yes there was some street noise but the room was larger than any other we had, great bathroom with solid door/marble shower with bench, 2 mirrored areas for getting ready and lots of floor space for bags, nice chez lounge chair in room too. With the a/c on and amount of booze consumed that location was not an issue for sleeping at any time. We quite liked it.. Just remember they do not guarantee room or bed choice so requests depend on where everyone else is before you get there. So make sure you ask to see rooms before you settle on one. They are more than willing to let you do that. if you want king and they cannot accommodate push a bit or ask to transfer next day... we have changed rooms before as we did not like being on ground floor and got moved next day to a better view and could see a bit of the ocean from 5200 block 2nd floor room. . Have a great trip, you will be a repeater soon!
