You should be able to tell the airline to deliver them to the resort. I think that's pretty standard. But you are at TTR, how much clothes do you really need. Lol. Hope it all works out.
We only check one bag, but make sure to have one outfit, swimsuits (only takes a small zip lock :xyxthumbs, and mugs in our carry on. We did have friends that lost their bag once, and it was delivered a day or two later to the resort.
We had a bag that didn't make it on the plane once. They delivered it to the resort a few hours later. Tip: If you have them do this, go down and check at the front periodically as the bag arrived long before we ever got a call that it was here.
