We have been on a couple cruises in the past and guests would decorate the outside of their doors to make their room stand out on the ships long hallways. They'd have magnetic dry erase boards to communicate with other people in their party. They'd put up funny pictures/door hangers. You get the idea. I was curious if anyone does this at TTR or if it's allowed? I tbought it'd be funny to get a "Feel free to disturb" door hanger :bunny: and putting up our forum name Kurtney so friends know which room is ours.

I have seen a couple doors last time with screen names on them. Not sure if it was CCC screen names or lifestyle but have seen it 2x.

I have seen it done but only at Xmas.
One couple decorates their door and balcony with ornaments and flashing Xmas lights.

We decorate our door every time and have never had a problem. We usually have a whiteboard to write on, and last time I created a custom door hanger with check boxes for "please disturb", "sex, yes please", and the classic playboy "si non oscillas, noli tintinnare" (if you don't swing, don't ring). Actually, our awesome maid Blanca sometimes leaves us a dirty drawing on our whiteboard haha. Gotta love her!

Word of advice: don't stick anything directly to the door - you'll probably pull off part of the finish, and then they might have an issue. We bring some string and loop it up and over the door, and secure it on the inside.

Kurtney I like this idea. We have been there twice and never saw any doors decorated. But the idea sounds fun. Of course that would mean adding more to my suitcase so if we decide to do this I have to get creative ;)

This would be our problem. Adding door decorations would leave less room for Tabi's shoes...
