I'm thinking of taking my wife to TTR for our anniversary on the second wK. of December. (5th trip, second this yr.) I'm wondering, what is the weather like, and how full is the resort? We were there in late Feb. and it was cool and windy. We still had a great time.
Cant wait For December Went first week of december last year and booked for 12/5 thru 12/12 this year. Weather was great but not overbearing - upper 80's. Pool was warm and it rained 1 day for half an hour the whole week - the only thing hazy was our minds:icon_biggrin:. The one thing I noticed was that it was the first time we went to Cancun in December so the days are the shortest of the year. Sun by the pool was gone by 5 pm because the resort blocks it out. It was amazing how fast the days go by when you are in a daze. It was our first trip to TTR so i can't compare the occupancy to other times but we left on Sunday and met people at around noon that were waiting for rooms because they overbooked on Saturday and had to send guests to Blue Bay on Saturday night. My advice is that if you get there on a Saturday...get there early.
We always go the first week of December. We have taken a break from Mexico for the last few years but we are back this year and cant wait to see everyone!!!
The couple years we went in Dec the weather was fantastic, The last couple years we went the end of Jan early Feb and found it cooler and more rain. We are from Alberta and that time of year anything is better than what we have here. This year I think we will go the middle of Dec.
