I woke up early and eager for as much beach time as possible. Honey finally got up and we hit the beach behind the hotel for a little while finding shells, then he asked if I wanted to go to Ft. DeSoto Park. Yeah, Duh!!! I love that place! So we went there for a while and found some cool shells, and decided we would come early the next day to catch the ferry to Egmont Key because that's supposed to be the spot for shelling (in that area). After a good 5 hours in the sun, we figured that was good for that day and ventured across the Sunshine Skyway to the outlet mall in Ellenton. We found some great deals. I got some Jordans at the Nike outlet for $20!!!! Sweet! We wanted to watch the sunset at Ft. DeSoto, but didn't make it, so we caught the last of the sunset at the fishing pier at the Sunshine Skyway. We had steaks at Gigi's and called it another early night.
