So - I did it. I sold the house. I'm looking at an apartment on Isla Mujeres for the summer, and was wondering if TR does a "day pass" for someone that lives local? I don't want to stay the night, as the dog my not be to happy - but I do love the day scene at the pool there. I will also be doing any boobs cruises I find while I'm out there...
Bump...I saw someone else post that they went for a day...messaged them and haven't heard back. Anyone?:huepfen021:

Congrats on the house sale, Roxie! I may be a little out of date on this, but last time I was up to date Temptation ran two kinds of passes. One is a 'day pass', starts at breakfast time and finishes at 6pm, price is around $65. The other is a 'night pass' which starts at 6pm and *I think* is valid until breakfast time the next day and costs $95, it doesnt include a room. Imho neither is a good deal. If you get the day pass you have to leave just when the early evening fun is starting and you've already met people you want to hang out with later. The night pass might be good for those who meet someone at a club or something and want to bring them back to the hotel, but for those that just want to enjoy the evening at Temptation and then make their way home in the early hours $95 is far too expensive. There are no discounts for locals on the passes (not even if you send the hotel 1 million dollars plus of business every year ) Occasionally in low season you will find special rates advertised in the local newspaper or sent out via email for night stays. But you will need a local id to be eligible, such as an FM2 or FM3 (visa) or go with someone who has one and even then its not always cheaper than you can find by booking the same night through regular tourist sources. The best way to enjoy Temptation as a local for the lowest price possible is to book one night. Say you book a Saturday, arrive for breakfast on Saturday and leave at midnight on Sunday. Day/night passes for an equivalent period of time would cost you 65+95+65+95=$320 and not include the room.
