So my wife and I are coming to TTR October 27 - November 3rd. Was wondering if it was excepted to dress in Day of the Dead attire for Halloween or other dates while there. Does this offend anyone or is anyone else thinking of doing this?
The resort theme for Nov. 2nd is DÍA DE MUERTOS EVENT DETAILS Day of the dead (Día de Muertos) is a highly popular tradition, celebrated each Nov. 2nd, where Mexicans honor their loved ones that have passed on, in a rather festive and colorful way. One of the most famous symbols of Día de Muertos is the Catrina, the skeleton of an elegantly dressed rich woman. Her representation brings a neutralizing force proving that everyone is equal in the end. Join us for this unique event as we call all souls to celebrate. Special Evening Event Dress Code: MEXICAN CATRINAS & CATRINES
I showed this theme to the the Mrs yesterday, we might just do this instead of the white night there are lots of great costumes out there. T
The Hotties n Hellraisers are doing a theme for the 2nd also. But yes the day of the dead costumes are really cute ❤️
We’re are planning on just wearing our bones. I wonder if security will give us any trouble? Hey it is a Hotel theme and does not take up anymore room in the suitecase...just saying.
I don't think it will offend anyone at Temptation. It's possible it might do if you were out in the sticks. Day of the Dead is mainly a religious festival to remember those near and dear who have passed away. Drunken tourists wearing some face paint and skimpy clothes might not go down too well at a local family's event, but you'll be fine at TTR
