Is photography of the Day Of The Dead tribute displays at the hotel (or elsewhere for that matter) considered good form or etiquette in the Mexican culture? They are very beautiful but I would not want to offend. George and Debbie
To be honest there is not much goes on in Cancun for Day of the Dead. The hotel will put some kind of display on as a tourist stunt. It wont be a problem taking pictures of that. Anything more serious only takes place at religious family homes or graveyards where taking pictures might not be appreciated, but I dont expect you'll be traveling that far
