Hi friends, Any suggestions on day excursions out of Cancun? and what is the best place to book these... online or thru resort? we will have only one xtra day for such an excursion so we would like to select the best one. I have heard Chichen Itza is a good place near Cancun to visit. <Visiting Cancun TTR Sep14-20>
Chitzen Itza is a full day trip...about a 3 hour drive it is a great excursion if you like the achitecture and culture..it is a long day though...usually the tour leave around 7 am and returns approx. 6-7 pm...another great tour is Explor...this is zip lines/caverns/underground river swims and rafts/4-wheel...a lot of fun...about an hour drive just outside Playa del Carmen...tour left at 7 returned about 5...all inclusive as well food/soft drinks
We only did two things out of the resort. Coco Bongo... FABULOUS!! and Isla Mujeres... which was okay
