I don't go to see many movies in the theater, but something about "Mr. Brooks" intrigued me, so I went last night and I must say that it was well worth it. The film is well acted, showcasing Kevin Costner in a way that you've never seen him as a serial killer leading a double life and fighting his inner demon. Excellent supporting cast including William Hurt, Demi Moore, and a very surprising serious Dane Cook. I found the movie keeps you thinking throughout and holds your attention extremely well. It's a taut film that will not disappoint. If you're not watching closely, the end may surprise you. 4.5 stars out of 5
