live DJ most nights in PatyOs however it seems like he plays the same songs every night still.. They do a band 1 night a week as well
There is a DJ. However we found that the tunes where alright, however as the nights went on we did notice the same songs played again and again around the same times. Lol we didn't mind. People can make their own fun. Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk
There is a live band on Tuesdays I believe. If there's a night you wanted to go off-site, that's the night. One night a week, a different DJ comes in. That's the best night for music. I can't remember if it's Wednesday or Thursday. The music is ok the rest of the nights. You will always have a fun time dancing there, though.
At the GP you can be the DJ at the Tiki bar at night, and play music off of your ipod. When we were there I had just got my Iphone, and most of my playlist hadn't been synced yet. As a consequence I ended up playing Sweet Child of Mine too many times. At some point a guy said to me, "dude, i love GNR, but this is enough. Sometimes playing the right mix isn't as easy as it sounds.
The DJ is okay but not great. After a few nights you pretty much know what song is coming next and he is not real keen on requests either. I think the music could use an upgrade.
He also doesn't read the crowd or just doesn't care if the dance floor clears with certain genres on a given night. Still fun!!
Don't know if it's the same guy as a year ago, but that one did take requests when they were made by girls in lingerie who promised to dance ONLY if he played their request.
We thought the music is pretty good and when you have an awesome crowd to dance with its even better.
