does anyone else think steve should cut the fat as far as members of the site are concerned? i will often see that someone has visited my page, so i in turn, visit their page only to find that they joined 1+ years ago, have 0 posts, and no pictures....what is the deal? they are not contributing anything to the site i do realize that it would probably be a monumental pain in the ass to do that, not to mention that they would probably just sign up under a different name or email or ip address...but its a little creepy
I know that I often manage to click on a username name by accident, when I actually wanted to click on "First Unread"..maybe this is what's happening? Steve probably has enough to do without clearing out inactive members!
I have done the same, I see strange names on my list often, and assume its much the same,,,, in fact ,, I recall see your name there once "madbomber",,,lol,, I just assume it wasnt intentional or they are looking at my photo album,,, g-rated of course,,,lmao
Some people just join to get information, or to see what is going on. You will probably find a lot of people with minimal posts who have signed up for some of the booze cruises, they lurk and if they see something that interests them, they jump in and don't post again for awhile. Other people just don't feel they have anything to contribute. And then there are others who are not on the up and up, I am ot sure how you would separate everyone.
And always remember too that there is a whole lot of PMs that go back and forth. Lots of people may never post a public message but are well know and share a bunch through PMs. Different strokes for different folks... and so on and so on and scoby be do be do be.... Jamie
The site is all about finding out information....if they want to look and not say anything...let them. It may change their minds about TTR which could be a good thing if they are going to be a bump on the log anyway. Like the previous poster said.."Nobody knows you and nobody gives a shit".
yea i guess the thought was a little short sighted....but i just figure if you are going to go to the trouble of registering and making a username that you would pipe in on some of the discussion...oh well i guess
