Customs usually has not been that bad, make sure you bring a pen on board..they will give you the forms to fill out about 25 min before you land, if you have them filled out ahead of time, its just a matter of going to get in line. My last few trips the lines have been fairly easy and smooth. Then just a matter of pushing a button and seeing if it goes red or green. If green its off to the races, if red they check your bags... just beware of the many many people trying to sell you rides and everything else once you get through customs
Yes, as Jim says, usually pretty quick. The longest I think it's ever taken from getting off the plane and outside is around an hour; usually a bit less. Of the 10-15 times I've been to Cancun, last time was the first time that I got a red light and they had to inspect my goods...

Put your toys on top of your close, they check you faster going back they have taken my spare camera batteries from my carry on, check them in your suitcase other then that there pretty quick. Morning are usually busier.
Usa transfer. used it last time. we were over an hour late but had no problems. 55 return cab 65 for van that you can share Book it threw this site at bottom of page. Helps pay for server time

I agree USA Transfers. Never had a problem even when our flights have been late. The cheaper transfers would be the shared ones & IMO they take WAAAAAY to long to get to the resort. That cuts into my vacation too much. :ernaehrung015:
