    Has anyone packed alcohol in their checked bag and got the red light in Mexico?? Did they take the alcohol??

    I read on one of the threads that you are allowed 3 (750 ml I think) bottles per person to bring into Mexico. Jess

    We had 3 bottles last trip and got the red light. No issues with customs at all.

    You are allowed three litres of alcohol from Canada. I always bring a 40 oz of sour puss or two. Sambuca too. Never had it taken away and yep I have had the red light in the airport.
