Current Covid Test Requirements: So many questions........... So we are scheduled for Desire in May, are vaccinated, and are wondering about the whole covid tests for re-entry to the US. Do we take home tests with us, do they need to be done by a third party, will all the testing go away sooner than our trip? I don't know these answers but would love to hear feed back for these answers and or recent experiences on your travel to and from Mexico.
We can test you both ourselves if you really want to, but it looks likes we'll be home free from now on
For Canada it's just go home and maybe get tested on arrival so we're guessing it's the same in the states. Hope all this stress will go away and you'll be able to enjoy your vaca just like us. Cheers guys
We got back from DRM a couple of weeks ago. They have testing on-site. Scan a QR code at the desk and set up an appointment the day before you fly back to the states. Pay with a credit card when tests are taken. Give a tip before and the guy was pretty gentile. Rumors are that in April sometime the testing requirement may stop. They will email the results and then you can forward the results to the airline. The airlines have a portal set with on-line check in.
We just got back from Desire RM 2 weekends ago. The results are emailed to you and you show it at the airline check-in. Jet Blue did not have the option to do it online.
