In preparation for our first trip to Temptations My wife and I have been scouring this form and it has been a great service. Thanks Steve for your effort without it we probably wouldn’t have booked at Temptations. We have been to several great resorts their entertainment is enjoyable but as for late fun or a party, not so much. We have been trying to figure out the proper/acceptable dress, resort vibe and what the hell goes on at a playground for adults. I think we have a pretty good handle on it but will probably still will be pleasantly surprised. A question I still have as we read form is about security. Sound like they can be annoying but man do they actually have a tuff job. Stand around all day trying not gawk at all the eye candy while everyone is having fun. All the while attempting to prevent guest from taking things too far while taking make a judgement at where that line is. No thanks I think I will aspire to being Walmart greater instead. My question is if security decides you need some sort of corrective action what do they do? I saw one post where you get sent to you room. Hell, if that’s the case on my last day I’m going to do something so I get “sent to my room” just so I have a good story to tell. I’m not one to get out of control or offensive but I do like to have a good time and have been know stick my toe over a line or two when my wife isn’t looking. Even though I’m more scared of my wife than security I was wondering what they do.
We have been many times and we both really like the security folks. Sometimes they are a bit inconsistent but they are always polite and professional. There have been a few times that security has talked to people we were partying with. Every time the people we were with just did what they were asked to do (put on a top, stop running and jumping to slide across the stage like super man, put your trunks back on at 2:00 A.M. in the sports pool.) and that was the end of it. Its like anywhere else, show them respect and comply with what they ask and you will have no problems.
We've never had problems with security in our previous trips, when they have said something to us or the group of people we were with it was because we or someone stepped over that imaginary line they seem to follow, game on to test the boundaries on the next trip with the HnH peeps. T
Well I guess a worst case scenario involves being kicked out (yep seen that happen) or arrested (never seen it but heard it has happened). I recommend you don’t go too far and remember to just enjoy your trip.
Defiantly will have a good time. I have never gone fare enough to really have any trouble . Only dabble a toe over the line in a fun way if I get the stink eye I respectfully back it down with a smile. Except for that time with the baby Lama, but I was young in collage and needed the money.
We have never seen the security be anything but professional in their duties. They've always been polite, and they truly are trying to look out for all the guests. They really don't want to ruin anybodies vacation, but they do have a job to do. It always seems if you treat them well and show them a little respect and understanding they'll do the same.
Hey have the "yellow cards" stopped. Security has always been pretty good when we have been there, no worries!
