An interesting fact I read about the Cubbies and their curses. "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" is most popular at Wrigley, namely because of Harry Carey's renditions of it during the 7th inning of a game. The interesting fact is the year in which that song was written......1908!!!!!!
So they say, but exactly 100 years since we have won a world series. Last world series appearance was 1945 even though we lost.........ughhhhh things are looking good this year but we have a LOG way to go and we have a LOT to prove!!
I am waiting patiently for this to explode this year............ but I am enjoying the good times right now while they last, as we dont get very many of them being a cubs fan! :lol:

Goooo Cubbies! We were in Chicago this weekend for my neice's christening. Of course we could NOT get tickets, but the guys in the family went to Cubby Bears, and watched the game! Said it was a blast! Gooooooo Cubs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep, the Cubby Bear or Murphy's are the best places to watch the game as they are 1 block from wrigley!! Good stuff!!
