This is for all the English people that live here and love their sweets.

I am a very happy person :D at the moment. I went to my local "OXOX" store to buy a bottle of diet coke and while I was there. I thought I would be bad and treat myself to a candy bar.
As I was looking. I saw something that caught my eye. I could not believe it. It was a "Crunchie Bar" importated from England. It was only 11 pesos.
    Tasted great.
I think I will go back tomorrow and buy a few to put in the freezer, just incase (like everything here) they don't reorder .

According to my resident East Ender, these are not the Crunchies she remembers before Cadbury took over Fry's.

These are the old Crunchies: [IMG]

And these are what she got at Oxxo:[IMG]
except that the Oxxo packet was red.

Are these the same you bought?

The "crunchies" I bought are the same as the old ones in the first picture.
and taste just as good as I remember.

The good old Cancun shopping syndrome. You would think that if one Oxxo has them, all Oxxo's have them. Reality check time: No. You're in Cancun. Which Oxxo did you find them at? I'm sure I'm going to be sent out on a mission.

My OXOX is the one opposite "Cable Mas". I am going there in a few. I will let you know if they still have some.

Just came back from the store. I bought the last 6 that they had. They did say that they will get more in. I will keep you posted if that happens.

Don't tell Saphire she'll probably go and buy them all there as well! :(

"Hey I've found crunchie bars that you might like", "There at the oxxo by me" and...."I bought them all"

I think I'd have prefered to have been in the dark that had the carrot dangled in front of my nose!

They have them at the OXXO on the corner of Yaxchillan and Xpuhil near Costco, I had one today. The wrapper was slightly more yellow than the orange I remember it but they could have had a makeover in the UK anyway.

Definitely the same product inside though. Just get there before Sapphire does!
