Crazy ?? Does anyone NOT drink much alcohol while there?

Ok, I was going to ask this last night but Rome beat me with his coffee/dick post so I felt like that was enough ridiculousness from one couple in one evening - though, might as well get our May peeps used to it, I guess!

Anyway, ever since eating VERY clean the past 3 months, I have not been able to drink alcohol without feeling very crappy. Even just 2 or 3 drinks.

And I don't really WANT to undo that. I'm not saying I won't try a few drinks the first day to see how it goes but if I feel like crap, I definitely won't be doing it again.

SO - does anyone on here go and not really drink much, if at all? Would like to hear experiences and "tips" on making it through the vacation.

Have a feeling the pressure to drink will be way more than any of the skeerd peeps think the pressure for swinging is like!!

 

we meet people every trip that dont drink and they still have a blast. each to there own!!GLENN

 

We know several diabetics, who aren't able to imbibe very much alcohol, and they all are repeat regulars and still have a blast.

Hell no!!! you have 4 weeks to train that liver get to it Girl. Remember you are from Jersey not the sunshine state!!! Drink the green juice in the morning you will be fine. Try different drinks down there and find one that you are good with.

 

Definitely DO NOT DO SHOTS, save your drinking for night and out of the sun.Drink a bottle of Gatorade with two Advil before bed and you will sleep fine.

Its like exercise and pre tanning before you go away you should practice drunkness as well.

Another thing with people exercising a lot is that you have completely changed diets for months before and when arriving at foreign destinations everyone over indulges in "healthy food" such as exotic unfamiliar fruit and salads. Try to stick as close as possible to your every day diet and eat carbs before drinking.

You will be fine.

 

my wife Alysia drinks very little at home, and she dont have much in cancun either.. She probably has more fun than the rest of us in our group

 

I don't drink much either. I have to really pace myself with a LOT of water. My husband on the other hand....oh my.

 

you'll probably find that your have a much higher tolerance in Cancun (at sea level) and you would likely have booze throughout the day as opposed to all at night like you would at home.

However, if you don't want to drink and not make a big deal of it, just get the bartenders to pour you pop, juice, water etc. problem solved!

 

I live in FL - I'm at/below sea level I can drink a ton and not seem drunk at all, but I feel like total crap for 2 days! Only have 5!
