Has anyone seen the beaches S of Delfines? I was down there today and almost cried that they are almost smaller then before the restoration. WTF!!!! It was a VERY sad sight to see. Seriously, one resorts Vollyball set up took up most of what is left, and it was very close to the wall of the hotel.

From what I could tell, it was from the Hilton down past the Royal Solaris.

How are the beaches at the Westin Lagunamar? I think the area you're referring to is further south, but I'm not sure.

Any help would be appreciated. We'll be there in November.

we stayed at the hotetur and it was really sad, there is hardly a beach left. we stayed there last year and their beach was huge, that was partially the reason we chose to go back.

I was there a bit over 2 weeks ago and my wife left there about a week ago. The beaches looked great and very wide since they rebuilt it in February. The actual view I had of the beaches as well as the photos of my wife and her friends show the beaches are far better then back in February while we were there as they rebuilt it. So, I really do not understand this sad look comment on the beaches south of Playa Delfines or the small beach with the volleyball court.

Were were you 2 weeks ago? I was again (on Friday) at the Royal Solaris and the beach is crappy!!!! Why would I lie? Anyone can walk down there from Playa Delfines and look. It seriously is just wide enough for a vollyball net. When I was there in March it was gigantic, not anymore.

I was down by Solymar and walked the beach every day down to Club Med and back up to Hilton. The beach was fine and plenty more room then space for a volleyball net. I am not saying you are lying, but the beach was fine a couple of weeks ago every day when I walked it. Actually walked it both at sunrise and after dark and saw turtles laying eggs almost every day.

I don't want to argue either our points, but I stand behind 1000000% that the beach at the Royal Solaris is wide enough for their volleyball net. And if I could find a day off soon, I would be more then happy to go and take a pic. But in the mean time, can someone please guide me in posting pictures to a post. I have tried and can not figure it out.
