Hello all We are a 40 somthing newbie couple here ( looking to drink/ dance it up .:daveandmo: and meeting similar folk ) on the ropes about coming to Tempation Resort later this month... :huh: could some of the regulars answer a few questions for us? 1) The RED wristband thing...do people treat you different if it doesnt have the white marking on it? I read what it signifies, we just want to relax and have fun hanging out with new people. 2) How loud (music) is it at night if you dont reqest a "quiet room"? We are all for partyn until the late night hrs but i think 2am or so might be our average to call it quits. ( im sure there will be a late late night here n there) 3) is late Aug a good time to go for 30-40 somthing couples? Dont mind hanging with the 20 somthings, but we could do that in Miami. 4) We read on Tripadvisor from 2009 that a swinger con took over the resort and the staff restricted the nonSwing couples out of the majority of areas. Is that possible?? 5) How bad is the sex police during the week at Temps? We dont plan on having sex out in the open lol. But we dont want anyone getting in our face we want to kiss/makeout ( pg naturaly). 6) last question....Is AUG a bad time to go with the construction going on? We are nervous but excited to book Thanx
Hi there guys ill try answer some of these for u. 1. Everyone gets a red wrist band except the premier people who get white ones from the resort so they now you are staying there. What you are reading is people sometimes where other wrist bands meaning different things example: Orange is people from this web site. 2.The music can be a bit loud but it finishes at 2am but bar is open till5-6am 3. I have been once in july and once in late august and come the 9th ill be there again in August. Generally people are 30 plus I would say. 4. Not to sure about the swingers thing back in 09, but they would advertise this is going on probable. 5. That is basically one thing you wont get away with is sex in public at TTR. Kissing and everything else fine. Sucking alcohol infused whipped cram of all sorts of body parts goes on so think your good with pda 6. Im heading there on the 9th aug so hope not. previous years they have had bits and pieces going on but never affected anything that I can remember. Hope that helps you. Rob
Hey thanks for your response! makes us feel more at ease bout everything. music ending at 2 am is perfect. Dont mind people up till 5 am. Some nights i plan on doing so as well. Wife and i are in early 40s but look 30s. Hope we are not the minority when we go. Picked TEMPS over the 20 somthing crazys in Vegas & Miami. All for that partying, but we dont fit the "spreing break look". Hope you have a great time there.
Worry not about any of your questions! It's all good! If you like to party........and if you can hide some of your inhibitions for a few days ...... you will absolutely love TTR!
PS.......there really isn't much construction going on except for a sun deck and they ought to have that completed by the end of the month!
No worries. We had the same type of concerns before our first trip and it was awesome. U guys will fit in just fine.
Funny how we all have the same questions before picking this resort. What I think is its like spring break for the middle aged. You can sit back relax, get involved, drink lots and meet a lot of people. You have it all. Nothing to crazy, we didn't find it to be a big swingers place at all. I'm sure its there, I wish there was a little more sex in public though. Just throwing that out there.
