i was wondering if anyone has been to the costco in cancun? i will be there for 10days soon, and wanted to get some vitamin water(to rehydrate during the day),sugar free rockstar(to mix with my vodka),and some acai juice(to mix with both). these are the things i like most to drink and was wondering if anyone knew if they have mostly the same stuff there as is available here in the states.....thanks for any info....aragincajun
Costco has a lot of stuff you'll recognise from the US, I'm not sure about "rockstar" or "acai juice" though - no idea what either is
Cajun, I will try to get by Costco in the next day or so and look for the Acai juice and SF Rockstar. I just bought a 4 pack of the fresh acai berries the other day at Costco in the far left cooler in the veggie area. I guess technically they are the seeds but they are tasty and good for you. Will report back to you for the juice if if Costco has the RS. But like Ariel says, Mega is right next door.
Yo Cajun, As promissed I hit Costco today and also Mega. Plus I have a correction to my earlier post on this subject. Costco has neither Rockstar nor Acai Juice. They have regular Red Bull and that is it. My correction is that I bought the berries/seeds but what I got was really Pomegranate. Sorry, my bad. They also have the juice at the end cap of aisle 313, a 2 pack of one liter bottles. Then off to Mega where they don't have the Acai, but they did have 4 types of Rockstar, but none were sugar free. One was low carb, the regular one in the black can and a couple of flavored ones, one of which was guava. They were in the soft drink aisle at the very far end on the left. Good luck. I won't make a special trip but if I get to Walmart in the next day or so I will check there and Sams, which are in the same location. Can't really think of a place to even check for Acai. Bring a bottle of the pills. LOL
