We stayed at Temptation for 7 days at the end of September. As you may know, this is not a resort for prudes, so be ready. The resort is great, they are keeping everything clean, hand sanitizer is available everywhere and all the staff wears masks at all times (except the pool entertainment staff when performing.) The food was Fantastic, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and room service. Our favorite was Sutra, the hibachi restaurant. Nahum, our chef, was so great. We went to this restaurant twice! We had a Lush Tower room, easy to get to on the 5th floor. The view was very nice, the patio large, the bathroom huge! The bed was ok, not the best in my eyes but not bad. The AC kept up all week, always a concern in Mexico. Great closet space and here is one of my dislikes. The closets all have automatic lights that turn on when you open them and due to the way the doors are built ours were on all week, even when closed. Not a big deal, we didn't even ask for a repair, but it may bug some to have the light leaking out around the doors. I loved the blackout power shade on the patio door, since you can't turn off your patio lights (no on or off, the resorts controls this.) You can control the shade from the bed, But ONLY from the bed. If the shade is closed there is no real way to slip out onto the patio in the morning without fully opening and letting the sun in on your partner. You can sort of pulling it out of the track to sneak out but it's not recommended. The membership (timeshare) sales girls keep asking to talk with us. I just tell them no. but they will not leave us alone when we walk through the lobby. It's just annoying, once we say no PLEASE STOP BUGGING. I am writing this review because every 20 min the TV in the room poped up a request for review. We reported it but no one ever came to help. Somehow it stopped for a day, but it did not last. I guess you can't make it stop without reporting it daily. Wow is that annoying! No review of Temptations would be complete without a shout out to the PLAYMAKERS: Natacha, Sandy, Georgina, Marens, Marco, Mike, JJ, The Rock, Mini Cooper, Sexy Papi, Fernando, and Baby Face. They make the Sexy pool such a great party all day long! I did find it was a bit loud, they tend to crank it to 11 all day making it hard to talk to people. They do a bunch of activities but again so much that I would want about 25% less so I can talk with friends. If you want to go full blast party all week, its the place for you! We did go to the quiet pool for a break a few times. It was very quiet, almost no one there, and a nice break. Diego kept the drinks coming. If you stay in the tower you can go to Sky 3.5 and it is nice and Lulu is the BEST bartender at Temptations! Overall Temptation was a Great experience snd we will Definitely return.
weve been going since 2009 we also take a break at the quiet pool. walk the beach. but if we diddnt love the place we wouldn't go every year, sometimes twice a year. been other places, and nope they suck! if it fits why change?
Is Mini Cooper back in the entertainment team ???? ............... we agree, the blinds are a pain and noisy..... no mention about the Sex LOL
Yes, Mini is back and as fun as ever. Good on the mic too. I believe he started again the last week of Aug ad we were there Sept1-10. Assume he is still there and has not gone away...again!
