Conversation Starter

As a first time couple going to Temptation at the start of May we sometimes struggled with what topics of conversation were acceptable and which were taboo. The biggest mood killing topic we could think of was "kids".

Any other topics to stay clear of to help other first timers?

Pee in the pool. For some reason every trip we run into someone who wants to talk about how disgusting the water is and how many people pee in it...of course while we are in the pool at the time. Sure kills the party vibe.

 

Never talk about leaving until you are carrying your bags out on the last day.

 

When your last herpes outbreak was....JK :doh:

 

Top 5 Acceptable conversation starters:
1) Nice Shoes
2) Let's do shots
3) natural or store bought?
4) I'm soooo drunk
5) Have you seen my swim suit?

 

Kids topics kill conversations even at the office... I can't imagine there is any room for that at TTR. I love my kids but I don't care about other people's kids who I've never met. And I don't expect them to care about mine!

I've found a universal good convo starter is: "here, would you like some AIWC from by wifes boob?"

Kids would be a downer conversation for sure.

 

I'm allergic to other people's kids.
