We were gonna turn up at TTR for 7 days but recently thought about doing a bout of 10 days instead. We did a 14 days trip once but really after day 8 we were done. But the resort was boring. I'm not sure I could survive 10 TTR days. Our last trip to TTR we both cried when we had to leave after 7 days. (Well on the inside lol). We would be leaving 2 young kids behind and a busy company that we own that we should also consider too. Hmm So what am I asking? I dunno lol. Who thought 10 days at TTR was too much?
We always do 7 days, this last one was our 6th trip. We love to party but we aren't hard core like many on here . I'd say if you are hardcore 10 might be a lot. We are going to try 10 our next trip.

I think the trick is being able to pace yourselves. To do more than 10 days requires "throttling back" every few days and escaping the madness! Hop the bus and spend a day in Playa del Carmen or visiting the Tulum ruins. Isla Mujeres is another great option. Airfare is our most expensive outlay so we try to get as much out of it as possible. Just my 2 cents.
We had the exact same thought this year. 7 days just wasn't enough. So we booked for 10 days. June 13-23. It can't get here soon enough. We just figured that we'd maybe take a day trip to save our livers from the shellacking they are going to take. Gerry and Rina
Are you sure?? I think they have all those options, I usually book through 1travel2000. I think 8-9 days would be perfect, then you could have a night off and not feel guilty about "missing out".
We've always done 7, Last trip, Feb, we did 10. Loved it, between 2 half days for flying, 2 days bad weather It was perfect. Liver was a little sore.
