I think it is important to note that there is ongoing construction on room 3301. It seems to be this room only at this point. There is considerable banging to break up the concrete between 7a-5p +/-. On arrival we happened to be placed in the room next door ;( The staff assisted with a room change but only gave me the option to move with an additional $300 payment. I have heard but not yet confirmed that this may be the beginning of renovation.
Hope you told them to go fuck themselves with that $300 payment cause you didn't pay for a renovation vacation. We've moved rooms as many as 5 times in one day till we found a room that we liked. Mostly a room with a minimal mold and stinky drains as possible
Oh no!! Should we confirm that there won't be construction when we book our stay? We are going for the first time in September and definitely don't want to listen to construction!
There is always "construction" at Temptation. I have been going for several years, and I have never been when there was not some type of remodeling going on. XOXOXOX
Yeah that room was gutted though even the concrete interior walls had been removed. I almost don't want to mention it but while at the premier presentation at Desire rm we were told that TTR would be closing in two months completely for almost a year. Total horseshit I'm sure but it goes to show you how little the people know that are trying to sell you on a big purchase.
The main part of the renovation will begin at the end of June. That was from s family member of the ownership.
Let's not confuse maintenance with renovation. Maintenance goes on 365 days a year, always has done - this includes gutting individual rooms and refitting them. Renovation will be when you see a crane with a wrecking ball. Latest I heard about the renovation is it wont be this year.
Pushed further off again. Hopefully it will be at least year so we don't have to worry about next April. Thanks for the update Steve, we hadn't checked with our friend since the fall when we wanted to make sure about this April.
