Which one do you prefer? We've never been, and would like to get some opinions. Been to TTR MANY times been feel its time to try other things. Desire RM, or Desire Pearl?
Ah classic question! Both resorts are wonderful. My thoughts about comparison: Desire RM has better late night food options: there's a whole bar (outdoor) with a pizza oven & TVs up above for sports. Pearl has food late night also, but it is not as great an experience and the food isn't as good. Desire Pearl has the better jacuzzi. It is ground level, which is a huge plus. The hot tub is situated in the middle with beds all around. Desire RM's jacuzzi is rooftop, which while it is nice and airy, it can be difficult managing the stairs when you are tipsy and/or in heels. Desire RM's jacuzzi is off to one side, with the beds on the other. Desire Pearl also has the disco at ground level. Desire RM has the pretty spiral staircase to get to the their disco. That staircase is beautiful for photos, but dizzying to climb up + down! (there is also an outdoor staircase, which is not spiral) Discos at both resorts are good, with light up stages and plenty of seating and a bar. Other than that, I think the 2 resorts are pretty wonderful. I think you'd have a great time no matter which you choose. We used to be Temptation addicts, but once we found Desire, we were hooked for life.
