So we are excited to stay at Temptations in January. I want to book a room but are confused on the different room options and was hoping the experts here could educate me. We are considering the following: Deluxe Ocean Jacuzzi Room Pool View Temptation Suite It is really confusing to me to figure out the difference between the three. I am assuming the Jacuzzi room has a jacuzzi and the Deluxe Ocean does not. But what is the difference between the jacuzzi room and the Temptation suite? Is the difference ocean front vs ocean view? Is the suite bigger? Is it worth the extra money? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks, Jeff
Hope this helps.... Deluxe Room – A room with a bed and a shower and places to keep your stuff. Can be anywhere in the hotel. Also known as a ROH (Run of the House) Room. You can be looking at the ocean or parking lot. In the long run, doesn’t matter because when you are there you are missing the party so you’d better be sleeping, changing, showering, or having sex. Deluxe Ocean – a Deluxe Room that includes the ability to have a least one foot on your patio or balcony and see (leaning over, through the trees, whatever) a speck of blue that is the ocean. You won’t see the parking lot, but that’s about all the assurance you can get. In the long run, doesn’t matter because when you are there you are missing the party so you’d better be sleeping, changing, showering, or having sex. Jacuzzi Room Pool View – These are Deluxe Rooms that have a Jacuzzi on the balcony for you to use. They do have a privacy screen (think thin window shade) for you to use if you don’t want to see the people watching you. They are all located on the first floor in Building 1 surrounding the Quite Pool. Temptation Suite – There are four of these on the end caps of Building 1 facing the ocean. They are twice the size of any of the Deluxe Rooms and have a seating area with a sofa and chairs. They are ocean view with large balconies but are hard to keep cool due to their size so if you want a nice cold room every day, maybe not. They are great for in party rooms but remember the A/C and take that into account. Jamie
Thanks for the info. Do you by chance have a link for the map of the property showing building numbers?
There is one on this site. Used to be able to find it in a post that had the basic hotel info on it and was a Sticky. But I hadn't updated it overall since 2009 (although 90% of the info was still current) so the stick get released. I'll keep looking to see if I can find it somewhere. Jamie

We've been getting a jacuzzi room for the past few years. Love it. All are first floor (obviously) with the jacuzzi on the patio. Blinds can be closed for some privacy but they are translucent... A few weeks ago we stayed in room 1103. Up near the quiet pool bar- and still had a view of the "ocean".
We definitely don't want a first level room, preferably a 2nd or 3rd floor room and really want a great view of the ocean. Which room would everyone recommend? What rooms have the best ocean view that isn't first floor?
I like the rooms by Paty 'os too. I like to be close so I can run back to the room to cool off or get stuff when i am a partying.
