No need to confirm really, but if it gives you peace of mind you could. But leave it until maybe a week before because they dont enter details into the system until a week/10 days before hand. (That goes for all hotel providers except direct bookings through TTR's own website)
Thanks alot. I have also seen ppl mention "advanced checkin" or something like that. We leave in 11 days. is that an option for us? Or should we just take care of everything when we get there. And 1 more question We arrive at the airport @ 10 am. I expect to be at the resort by 12. what is the chance they have a room ready for me? thanks again!!
i booked thru alpha rooms the past two years..never a problem..and i just did the pre check in on the Temptations cancun website....
Just go to TTR website and you will see the advance checkin in which you can do 15 prior to the date you arrive. As for getting a room by 12 you might if your lucky but I have arrive 5 times before 2 and never got a room right off, only once when it was 130. Just have your swim gear close to top of luggage. I always carry a couple sets of clothes and swim gear in carry-on since I have had my luggauge delayed a day a couple times. Either way if you don't get a room right off they watch you stuff at the front door.
If you dont get your room right away just unpack a suit from your carry on ,change, and go join the fun til it's ready

As little as an hour as much as 4, really a crapshoot based on time of day/week/month... It is fun to look around and know that chances are your the only one that is not going to be at a 'stuffy' resort playing bingo with the kids around the pool...
