My speakers just stopped working last week, even though the little light on the speaker was on ... so I bought new speakers, they're hooked up correctly and the little light is on, BUT still no sound ... can anyone help ?!?!?!

are these new speakers replacing older ones or did you just not have speakers before? It could be a number of things, if you got a disk with your speakers ensure you run it as there will be drivers on it if not check the manufacturers website for drivers for your type of speaker Sounds simple but ensure the wires are hooked up to the right ports again check that the volume on the speakers is up and the volume on your pc , which should be at the bottom right of the computer indicated by a little microphone, double click it and make sure all are up full
Riki is right. Go to the manufactures website and just download the sound driver again and that should do it for you. We had the same problem with our dell and that worked for us.
