Just back from another delicious 2 weeks at Temptation and having eaten my way through all the menus, I thought I’d provide an update on all the current food options since there's always questions about restaurants and meal recommendations. Dress codes taken directly from the PlayBook received at check in. Please add anything I missed below in comments and I will update! RAIN (International Buffet) Breakfast: 7:00am-11:30am Continental foods, eggs/omelettes, meat/seafood grill, cold/hot buffet, juices/fruitsLunch: 12:30pm-3:30pm Dinner: 6:00pm-11:00pm Salads, soups, meat/seafood grill, sushi stand, tex-mex stand, cold/hot buffet, dessertsDress code: Daytime: Beach casual (shoes/sandals & shirt/coverup required, no swimwear/wet clothing) Dinner: Resort casual (shoes & shirt with sleeves required, no tank tops/swimwear/sandals)Reservations: No (tables always available) Notes: - Both sides (Rain & Flame) of the buffet are open at Breakfast and there are some different foods on each side so be sure to check it all out. - Only the Rain side of the buffet is open at Lunch and Dinner. SEA FLIRT (Seafood) Breakfast: 7:00am-11:00am Dinner: 6:00pm-11:00pm Dress code: Daytime: Beach casual (shoes/sandals & shirt/coverup required, no swimwear/wet clothing) Dinner: Resort casual (long pants, collared shirt with sleeves & closed shoes required)Reservations: No (tables usually available, can peak 7:30-8:30pm) My recommendations: Breakfast: smoked salmon, veracruz enchiladas, northern migada Dinner: octopus appetizer, original salad, rib eye, chiclayana shrimp, toasted vanilla creamNotes: - Sea Flirt is the only restaurant with beach oceanfront view and some outdoor seating, which is beautiful at sunrise/sunset. Bring hair tie/sunglasses if eating outside. - Neon/glow lighting can be hard on the eyes during dinner. - Can reserve private room table for 10 if paying for 2 bottles of wine. SUTRA (Pan Asian) including HIBACHI (teppanyaki tables) Dinner: 6:00pm-11:00pm Dress code: Long pants, collared shirt with sleeves and closed shoes required Reservations: Yes, only for Hibachi tables (3 seatings at 6:00pm/7:15pm/8:30pm-ish). No reservations for Sutra (expect to wait during peak 7:30-8:30pm)My recommendations: tom yum soup, spicy tuna roll, salmon filet, tuna tataki, deep fried ice cream Notes: - All tables are served an appetizer of crispy spring rolls and sweet sticky ribs. - Large groups might be served family style with chef’s choice of dishes. - Hibachi is set menu with spring roll/sticky ribs appetizer, a choice of protein (chicken, steak or fish), veggie stir fry, fried rice and fried ice cream dessert. - Can reserve private room table for 10 if paying for 2 bottles of wine. SHE (Aphrodisiac Experience - Couples only) Dinner: 6:00pm-10:00pm Dress code: Ladies: Elegance with a dash of sexy & sensual Gentlemen: Long pants, collared shirt with sleeves and closed shoes requiredReservations: Yes, required (4 seatings at 6:00pm/6:20pm/8:20pm/8:40pm) My recommendations: mussels, gravlax salmon, roasted corn soup, beef steak, pound cake dessert Notes: - She is no longer a 7-course tasting menu. New a la carte menu has many dishes similar to what was available on tasting menu. - There are 2 sexy dancers who perform 2 solos and 1 duo during dinner. AMORES (Mexican) Lunch: 11:30am-6:00pm Lunch buffet: salad, soup, cold/hot buffet, wings, ribs, nachos, pizza, dessert Lunch menu: hamburgers, pizzas, pastas, fajitas, tacos, wings, onion rings, friesDinner: 7:00pm-11:00pm Dress code: Daytime: Beach casual (shoes/sandals & shirt/coverup required, no swimwear/wet clothing) Dinner: Resort casual (shoes & shirt with sleeves required, no tank tops/swimwear/sandals)Reservations: No (tables always available) My recommendations: shrimp aguachile, rib eye huarache, lobster pozole, churros, three milk cake Notes: - Good for large groups. Least popular dinner restaurant so always large tables available. FLAME (Steakhouse) Dinner: 6:00pm-11:00pm Dress code: Resort casual (shoes & shirt with sleeves required, no tank tops/swimwear/sandals) Reservations: No (tables always available) My recommendations: heart of palm salad, grilled octopus, beef steaks (fillet), thick ribs (beef short rib) Notes: - Good for large groups. Least popular dinner restaurant so always large tables available. ROMANZA (Italian) Dinner: 6:00pm-11:00pm Dress code: Long pants, collared shirt with sleeves and closed shoes required Reservations: No (expect to wait during peak 7:00-8:30pm) My recommendations: carpaccios, arancini, tomato soup, beef filet, veal ossobuco, lamb, creme brulee Notes: - Slower service and typically the busiest restaurant. Expect to wait if showing up 7:30-8:30pm. - Can reserve private room table for 10 if paying for 2 bottles of wine. WINE LIST (All Restaurants) Wine list picture taken from Romanza, but fairly certain the wine available for purchase is the same in all dinner restaurants. CAFFEINE (Gourmet cafe) Cafe: 6:00am-11:00pm Dress code: Beach casual (shoes/sandals & shirt/coverup required, no swimwear/wet clothing) Reservations: No My recommendations: espresso, frappes, mini croissant sandwiches, mini cakes (all of them!) Notes: - Snack/dessert options change throughout the day. - Take some cookies or dessert back to the room fridge and keep for late night munchies. SKY 3.5 (Rooftop bar) Snack/Lunch: 11:00am-6:00pm (closed Mondays) Dress code: None (but you need to be covered in lobby/elevator) Reservations: No My recommendations: tuna tataki, shrimp corn pops, roof burger, cheese fingers, curly fries Notes: - Sky 3.5 rooftop pools & bar is free for Premier/Referrals/Tower guests; $20 for all other guests. - Closed Mondays, occasionally closed for private events.
