Here's another one, especially for those who like period pieces, set in the twenties, in Paris! It's Coco y Igor, the story of a brief, but torrid love affair between Coco Channel (Channel No 5 fame), and Igor Stravinskii. I never thought I liked his music, but the ballet and music shown in the first scenes of the movie changed my mind. The ballet was amazing, so different, the music perfect accompaniment to it.

The movie is French, the dialogue in French and Russian (Stravinskii was Russian), so the audience depends on the Spanish subtitles to understand what's being said.

It's pace is slow, like that of real life, as is the ending, in its untidy wrapping up.

    For adults.

There is another good movie about politics. It’s titled la ley de herodes I think it was filmed in the 90s. The story takes place in a small town in Mexico during the forties or fifties, in the middle of nowhere. However, the movies theme is relevant universally when it comes to politics, money or power. Check it out if you haven’t seen it already. I’m going to catch Colosio later on today at cinemex Cuernavaca. Thanks for the movie info.
