Ok so My wife and I want to go with the people from the resort to Coco Bongos on Monday Aug 16th. My question is for anyone who has done this is it worth it? Also are there places to sit? How are the Drinks? Any other suggestions? Thanks a lot for anyones help Steve
Most definately worth it if this is your first time, it is a packed ...I dont remember much about the drinks, been a few years since I went

Been there our the last 2x to Cancun! Only regret we had was we didn't go there our first 7x to Cancun! Don't worry about a place to sit, you won't want to! .....drinks?.... just like every where else, take care of the sevrer and he'll take care of you!... Have fun!
We went with the hotel in June. It was $50 a person plus tipping the bartenders and cab fare back to the hotel...but I will say it is definately worth it...ive always had the best time there....2 out of the 3 times i've gone we got seats, this last time we had a little vip table on the first level...but really i only sat down the first half hour, after that i was dancing the whole night, you wont want to just sit there..its SO fun! The drinks are ok, they do the job...we had tequila the whole night so not sure how anything else was. The bartenders usually bring the drinks to you all night non stop, not sure if that is for everyone or if you got a table.
It definitely is worth it and the night flies by. When we went with the group from the resort we had a blast and before we knew it, it was 4am...
Coco bongo is a must..its so much fun. Just as everyone else says take care of your server and they will take care of u. Everytime we turned around it was more tequila and drinks. If u get there when they opeen u should be able to get a table
