I read somewhere that Temptations is quiet on Mondays due to everyone going to Coco Bongo's. Is that true? If so, anyone going on July.2? We haven't been there before and I am not sure I want to spend my first evening there but I also don't want my first night to be lame. What happens on Mondays and what are your thoughts? Any advice will be appreciated.
there were still lots of people at Paty'O when left for Coco Bongo in May. they only take 1 bus, not a huge dent.
I Would hang out to see who is going. If its a nice group it's something you don't want to miss. We actually plan to go on our first night. We have met some of the best people that we ended up hanging out with the rest of the week on the bus and at coco bongos.
If you do go to Coco Bongos, I would recomend paying the extra for the VIP was $110 each but was well worth it compared to the normal, you get your own table, stools, server(was never without drinks) and toilets right next to you, makes it a very enjoyable experience. But if not there will still be plenty of people at Patyo's to party with.
We were planning on going to Coco Bongos on Monday night to check it out, because we want to do the theme nights the rest of the week. Three more wake ups and we will be there and looking forward to a much needed break. Safe travels and see you next week.
We were planning to go maybe on the Monday 11th June If you have never been its a place unlike anything you have ever seen before. 4 more sleeps!
Thanks for the input If you pay the extra for the VIP will you be sitting near the people from Temptations? Do they offer the tickets at the resort? We would like to check it out but considering that we're only at Temptations for 3 nights I kinda don't want to miss out on any theme nights. Thanks for the input!
Depends if others go vip too, when we were there folk that went on the normal said they were crowded in and could hardly move and it was hard to get a drink so they only stayed an hour or so, where as we were there all night. The coach doesnt go till 10-30ish and you can buy tickets just before you go, they come round patyo asking people, so if you having fun in patyo's you can make your mind up whether to go or not at the time so dont worry about making plans till you get there, betting is you'll have had a great day in the sexy pool and proberbly decide against it, we were there a fortnight so got to do plenty of everything. Thank you Smickey!! That's probably a good idea. My hubby says I worry too much about making plans and that will just go with the flow! Either way I am sure will have a blast!
Angela and I went our first night with some great folks we met at the pool earlier in the afternoon. We had a great time. Everyone from Temptations was put off to the side of the main stage together. We had plenty of space. No need for chairs, you won't ever sit down. Our waiter came by every 10 minutes or so and we never wanted for a drink. It was my favorite night of our trip..........until the next night(which was white night).
