We are thinking of going to coba, has anyone been and what is the. Cost that the resort offers and is it worth the cost?
Hi Wentcrazy, We went to see Coba a couple of years ago and it was very nice since (at least at the time) it was the only pyramid you could still climb. Plus there were some other nice ruins on the road in to the main attraction. I don't know the cost of a trip from Cancun, but it would be pushing a 2 hour drive each way as it is about an hour south of Playa del Carmen. Good luck deciding.
We did Coba on this trip. We loved the Ruin and climbed it. We thought the bus ride was way too long as it felt the need to stop at about 7 resorts to pick up peope and we were the first on the bus. If i were to do it again I would try to do something where I was sure I wouldn't have so many stops. Also we took the trip where we spent the PM in Tulum and though nice was too long a day. It was such a nice day and we both kept thinking we were missing the sexy pool and the antics of our new friends. We are glad we did it and happy to have pictures to look at so we don't have to go back. We booked the excursion through our travel guy at the resort with Sunquest) I likely wouldn't travel with them again. We paid 70 USD PP and thought that was far too steep.
Sounds liike you might be better off to substitue the trip for a youtube trip and have more time at the resort where everythingi is already paid for..:aktion034:
what really bugged me it was our last full day in cancun but we went out that night and got crazy Kevin
That is the problem, this's our 8th trip to TTR and we have done a lot of tours ove te years, coba was something that interested us this year but t is a long day away from the resort. We will see how the week pans out.
