I was sad to hear that the resort no longer goes to senor frogs. Does anyone know where the go now? Also, how is the city these days? I went once but I didn't enjoy it that much.
Hey Suebee, Just got back last week and the hotel now go to The Beach Club @ The City on a Tue night - it rocks!! It's the beach club to the side of the City (check it out online), loads of cabanas, 3 pools and of course, dancing under the stars all night! I would highly recommend it!! We were there on our second night with Chinos, Jose & Lalo for Jose's bday and apparently they don't go to Senor Frogs anymore as it isn't doing the open bar! Hope this helps. T
Nights? From what I'm reading on this thread it seems like the club dates are now different than whats posted on the site... for example, it's mentioned above that Coco Bongos is on Thursd when while the site says Mon... Does someone have the updated club nights?

Hi beach-bum, Thanks for the info-it does help! It's great to hear that you had an even better time than last year. This will be my 6th trip but I haven't been since 2006 so I'm excited to see all the changes and I think I'm going to be lucky enought to catch Chinos before he leaves. FYI on Senor Frogs.....If you do go and like to drink be prepared for a hefty bill. It's isn't cheap by any standards unless they lowered prices in the last year or so.
Hey Suebee, The resort was really busy for the majority of the time and packed out for Labor Day weekend - they had to ship some folk off to Blue Bay! The clubs were really busy also, not the busiest which is good, you are able to move but still party your ass off Can't believe you haven't been since 06!! Your going to have a ball!! When do you go? That's good you will get to see Chinos!! The place doesn't seem the same without him! But the new gang are fantastic too. T
Hey beach-bum, I'm leaving on the 23rd and I can't wait! For the longest time I was expecting really to not see anybody I know, except for jose so it was a great surprise to find out chinos was back. I'm also looking forward to meeting all the new crew too! Any last minute tips or suggestions? cheers, suebee
Suebee, you have to go to Basic. They have water jets shooting up from the dance floor, it was a fab night. Be very careful at Coco Bongos, 3 of our group had thier drinks spiked to two different nights.
