We are booked for May 3rd-11th at TTR Cancun 2023. The original theme for this night is Cosmic Bash, but we noticed the theme in a different thread that said the theme will be Drinko De Mayo for the May 5th night. Is there a dress theme for this? What does everyone wear? Some say its not a thing. Just curious to be prepared so we can look for attire. The dress code we saw said Adelitas and Charros. Think that be too much, being that its going to be hot. Another thread said Mexico does not celebrate Cinco De Mayo. Just wanna be prepared. Any input is appreciated. Thank you

Last question first..... Cinco De Mayo is an American holiday that Mexicans in general do not celebrate.

That being said, Cancun is a tourist town just south of the United States and therefore everyone, including Temptation, celebrates it like there's no tomorrow. :)

Temptation has added an event like you said, which will be added to the May Roll Call on the next update, Drinko De Mayo:

Temptation is ready to rock with loads of fajitas, margaritas, salt, and lime.
That’s right, it’s Cinco de Mayo party time. If you’ve never joined us for this sensational celebration, it’s not your average day on vacation!

Daytime: Mayan ball game, michelada cocktail class, mechanical bull, Mexican fair

    Evening: Mexican performance, happenings, fireworks

    Dress code: adelitas y charros

So there will be an all day party celebrating Cinco De Mayo. :)

As for the night dress code...... I'd go with whatever floats your boat because it's going to be all over the place. ;)
