Cinco de Mayo celebrations???

    Hey all, this will be the first year we are in Cancun for Cinco de Mayo. Are there any celebrations or this an americanized tradition? Staying at Palace Las Americas, 5/4-5/14. WOO HOO!!!! I need Mexican air and sun in the worst way.

    Yeah, 5 May is celebrated much more widely in USA than it is in Mexico. There are some places that celebrate in Mexico (Puebla being one) but not in Cancun.

    I wouldn't worry though, every day here is a party if you want it to be. Have a great trip.

    Alot of american tourists will be getting together from the Trip Advisor forum at the Hard Rock Cafe...bring a toy for the kids of Give A Toy Get A Smile and you'll get 15% off your bill!
