A few years ago they were only allowing one carton per person. can anyone tell me are they still inforcing this. Lucky for me I quite but my friends have not. Any help on this will be of great help. Thanks
My friends bought cartons at the airport duty free shop in addition to what they carried on in their luggage. Not sure what the rules are.
Not sure of the current rules but it has been one. Suggestion: If you take a carton take out the individual packs and spread them throughout your luggage. Last time we took a carton in tack it was stolen out of the luggage. Individual packs spread out makes it more difficult to steal.
From info I've found, it is limited to 400 cigarettes or 50 cigars per person. If you don't declare it and your bags get searched they can be confiscated
FYI - the Mexico customs limit is 10 packs of cigarettes, 25 cigars, or 200grams of tobacco I've attached a PDF of the current Mexican Customs form that you fill out when entering Mexico for your reference and the limits on what you can bring in are listed on this form
Under 24Volt or 3 Horsepower and less than 22 inches are free.... More than that are "why (or how) did you ever leave home"?
