hey got another question how much are ciggies at Temptation? (something like Mayfair) cause the hotel we go to at Rivera maya charge £50 for 200 so rep goes to town and charges £20 ( too far for cab as expensive) so if they are not cheap how much is a cab into town and how much are ciggies there? thanks xx
Yes agreed. Buy them at airport terminal before you leave. They're a reasonable price coming out of the UK. As far as I can remember at hotel they're expensive and limited in selection too.
Last time I remember Marlboro Lights were 70 Pesos a pack at the hotel. At a downtown supermarket they are 40 Pesos, almost half the price.
Better than a cab, just get the bus. That's around 8.5 pesos (less than 50p) - just let the bus driver know you want to go to Wal-mart (there's loads of shops around there). Taxi back would be around £6 - just shop around and make sure the taxi driver quotes you the price before you get in (and confirms if it is price in peso or dollar).
We always buy a carton when we get to the airport in Mexico! I think they where like $30 a carton last time we went!
Anybody know if they have Newports in the airport in Mexico? Cigs are crazy expensive here in Washington. Like $8-10 a pack.
